San Francisco, California -- Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins dons a "tin helmet" for her visit to the Golden Gate Bridge project recently. With her are L.E. Stanley (left), a workman on the bridge; and Graver A. McLain, construction boss. She is presiding over a session of the five-state labor conference in San Francisco.
