New York: Former Labor Secretary Attends
Rally For Forand bill. Carrying a bouquet of flowers, Frances Perkins,
former Labor Secretary in the cabinet of the late president Franklin
D. Roosevelt, attends a senior citizens rally at Madison Square
Garden here May 18th. The rally was held to support the Forand Bill,
proposed by Rep. Aime J. Forand (D-R.I.), which would increase aid
